Hendersonville Medical Center’s Volunteers Hosting Book Fair

HENDERSONVILLE, TN.  (March 20, 2007) – If your bookcase is looking a little boring these days, Hendersonville Medical Center is the place to be on March 29 and 30.  The Hendersonville Medical Center Volunteers will host its bi-annual, “BOOKS ARE FUN” Book Fair from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Thursday and from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday.  The event takes place in the Community Room at Hendersonville Medical Center, which is located at 355 New Shackle Island Road.

The Book Fair will feature thousands of books in more than 12 different categories at prices up to 70% off retail.  Selections include children, reference, educational, cooking, sports and photography.  Photo albums, stationary, toys, videos and music will also be items of interests at this event.  

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Hendersonville Medical Center Volunteer Scholarship Program.  The Hendersonville Medical Center Volunteer mission is to render services for patients and their families and to engage in fund-raising projects that will help to fund scholarships for students studying for medical careers.
